Furniture Project: Designing a "Comfortable Sofa" for Living Spaces in Furniture Design II. My goal was to create a unique piece that makes a strong visual impact while providing 100% comfort. I drew inspiration from the most comfortable piece of furniture one can imagine—a bed. I envisioned an abstract design featuring a base, a mattress, and pillows. The sofa is supported by an internal structure that holds the "pillows" together and supports the overall composition. I named my sofa "Pisellini," which means "peas" in Italian, as the design reminded me of them. As a result, I also created a collection that includes an armchair, a chair, and a chaise longue with an extension.
