THE
PIC
GALLERY
Situated on a mid-level plot with only two facades, I created a minimalist design from front to back. The exterior is coated in black, symbolizing a modern departure from the existing masonry, leading into a white, pure exhibition space. Designed for freelance photographers in need of a contemporary gallery to rent and showcase their work, the building features a steel structure to minimize weight within a 3x3m grid. This allows for spacious, wall-divided exhibition halls throughout the three-story building. The Pic Gallery accommodates six photography exhibits, a café and patio at the back, and a smoking area with a balcony on the second floor, making it a top choice for modern photographers.
